ThePaperBoat store started out during the second part of quarantine with anime stickers because that is what I was watching all day. I’ve always been into art and it is definitely something that is always at the back of my mind- hence my major (architecture), but after high school art classes I never really did anything with my skills until the lockdown. Creating stickers has been a fun experience because through my designs I have stepped into online communities I didn’t know I wanted to be a part of. As I mentioned before, I started out making anime stickers because this was also my first real experience watching anything other than Naruto. As much as I enjoyed that theme I knew that was not going to be my niche so I have been experimenting with different ideas and so far I’m liking the results. I am currently broadening options, while still narrowing down a niche that reflects my somewhat relatable daily life. I hope you all stay tuned for what I have in store!
